It was wonderful to have a three day weekend! On Friday, I met with some of the Marines left back and we got everything organized for the Return/Reunion Brief and Banner Making in February! Yeah! It's nice to be planning that.. it means it won't be to incredibly long now.
I talked with AJ the other night and in code I have a pretty good idea when he will be in the states. He is going to be on the advanced party to get his Marines all set up for their return on the East Coast. There still may be hope that we can fly him home for the wedding, but will have to fly him back with his Marines. So, I am still praying it all works out. It would be hard to let him go, but it would be totally worth it to have him as a date that night. He says we will know more in a month.
He had a rough day last week. I think he was missing us all terribly and he was tired. He has been very busy, and I know he has been in and out of base. He doesn't give details, but I know that things are still going well.
I have decided to dedicate my weekly packages this month to Valentine's Day. I think I put together my last one. I will start on his birthday and St. Patrick's Day next... and throw in Easter. I had a coffee cup made on Shutterfly. He loved it. Now, he can drink his coffee out of me everyday=) He got a good laugh out of that. Today, I threw in some foot lotion and a pumice stone. He said his feet our nasty. So, I thought he would find humor in that. I also found some glitter hearts at CVS, and wrote on each one all the different reasons I love him. I wrapped them in a Valentine's Bag . I thought he would smile about that.
Back to work tomorrow. I didn't get anywhere near the amount of cleaning I wanted to do done. But, it isn't going anywhere. I got a few new pictures from him the other day. I hope you enjoy them!
