Off Day

Do you ever just have one of those days.. that you should have just stayed in bed? That is the day I had today. I had been really bummed because I hadn't talked to AJ since Sunday and we had been having very good communication either via E-mail, web cam, or on the phone the past few weeks. So, suddenly not being able to talk to him has made for a rough week.

I had been hearing on the news that there was a major operation taking place, so when I wasn't hearing from him I wondered if he might be involved. Well, he called me this morning. His exact words: " I'm not calling cause I miss you or to just tell you I love you." My heart sank. I was waiting for a horrible story. Then found out he was just being dramatic. We were having problems with his government travel card. Long story short... they gave us money that should have been paid to his card. So, we owe money. Anyway.... he was calling me about that. So, he was pretty upset by the whole thing and we didn't really even get to catch up.

I got to work and everyone seemed to want to talk with me today or needed something done. I think even the priest was looking for me to schedule a time to learn PowerPoint. So, once I was done running laptops around and getting everybody what they needed, it was time to focus on the day. Thursday is my crazy day. I teach nonstop and am constantly have to switch gears. I think I have 4th grade, all the 2nd grades, both 7th, and an 8th grade class. We are doing a couple different projects this week. One is involving making tables in Word and one is a major Excel project with the use of a map, Map Quest, and formulas. The kids were very busy once we got going, but seemed I was running around in my heels all day. You would think I would learn not to wear heals. But, much better these days to feel good about what I am wearing, then to go for comfort and I have to buy longs to fit my legs, but they seem to be just to long for flats.

Anyway.. I have bus duty again this week and the last bus game 30 minutes after we started duty. So, I got out of work later then I wanted. I had to run to the store, and had to get Brady to get him to basketball. When we got to basketball, I had to change Brady. About halfway through practice, I realized that my keys were not in my pocket. Major Freak Out Moment! All of my keys to the building, my house, and my van were on there. Luckily, before I flipped out.. I checked with the front desk. The lady said she didn't have any keys, but I saw them sitting on the counter. Thank GOD!

I just bought a new coat. After realizing that they gave us the wrong taco, at Taco Bell and having to run inside. My button came off. Ughh! I hate to sew!! Where is AJ? So, that was my eventful day. To top it all off, I haven't had a full night sleep in weeks. My kids have been waking up for random reasons, and I never can seem to get back to sleep. So, tonight looking forward to getting them to bed and threatening them with their lives if they wake me up!!!!!!! Thank God tomorrow is Friday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
