Brrrrrrr.....

We are having Arctic weather here in the Midwest. On my ride to school, our car read -10. That was without factoring in the windchill. It was -20 with the windchill. I am so tired of this weather! We had 4 inches of snow the other day, so everything still looks pretty... because there was no melting. My heater in the house, runs and runs. The hallways in the school were freezing. A few of the rooms didn't have heat. Brady's b-ball practice was cancelled. Let me tell you that I was so bummed! Not!!!! I decided to leave the boys at aftercare, and brave the weather, so I could get some groceries by myself. It was totally worth it to be able to think while I shop.

AJ has been very busy this week. I got a few random E-mails, anda 5 minute phone call this week. I am so ready to be able to have a full conversation with him everyday! I felt like I waited days to hear his voice, but because they have a huge mission right now, he had been up all night and was exhausted. Although, it's great to hear his voice.. I'd much rather not feel so rushed. We are planning a webcam date tomorrow night if all goes as planned.

Well, I am ready to get cozy in my pj's. Work has been crazy this week. I am on the school steering commitee to get our school state recognized, so we will be leading an inservice tomorrow. We also met with our tech guy, and discussed the new report card, grade book, lesson plan book, school records organizer program. We also learned that the Education Comission wants a new school website for the new school year. Along, with getting everyone's tech projects ready for Catholic School's Week next week, I feel like there has been no down time. Keegan's teacher must wonder whats wrong with me. I couldn't get the times right for his play today and showed up 15 minutes early for both. I just feel like everything is crazy.. my house.. work.. etc. I think I probably almost stared crying twice today when someone told me they didn't know how I did it. I feel like I keep getting roped into more and more. Someday, I will learn to say No!
