Checking In

I thought I better check in since blogging has taken a backseat lately. It is Sunday once again. Four more Sundays until AJ is done with school. I'd like to say we all are going with the flow and everything is wonderful, but we all seem to be very ready for it to be done. For the past two Sundays, Keegan has worked himself up over his Dad leaving and has spent the night throwing up. I think that he was associating his Dad leaving with him being in danger. We worked through that and bribed him a bit, and the rest of the week was fine at bedtime. Tonight, I knew he was upset. He actually started crying right before dinner. Wishing he had more time to play with his Dad. AJ took him to buy a new Wii game and they have spent the last two evenings playing it. I again had to be firm with him and let him know that this is hard on us all, but that this is something he can control. We will see what happens. It honestly is exhausting knowing he could be in bed for an hour or longer then start panicking and throwing up. Brayden seems to be doing very well. His teacher didn't even realize AJ was gone. He loves Kindergarten and loves the new things he is learning.

As for me, I am trying to get my real estate class done, but that was put on the back burner last week after being exhausted from helping Keegan and Brayden with homework and a few late nights that included soccer and parents night. This week looks to be calmer with only one soccer game. So, my hope is to at least get two units done.
