Sunday

Well, we officially got through the first weekend without AJ. I always think weekends are the hardest when AJ is gone. Even though I am off for the summer, there just is something about seeing everyone with their husbands/wives that makes me miss him more. Well, I got up and got going pretty good this morning. Those of you whom I have talked to this week know that I have struggled to get going. Been very lazy and find myself in my PJ's until um... Noon. So, today I was adamant to get going and get some things done.

AJ and I had watched the Food Channel before he left. We saw a recipe for an Italian Sausage and Pepper Sandwich. The Italian in me had to try to make it. So, I did for my family. I really love to cook, but don't do it much when it is just me and the boys. Anyway, I made that this morning and put it in the fridge for us to have for dinner.

My Dad wanted to take Keegan to see Spiderman 3, so we dropped him off to do that. Brady and I went to my sister Jamie's house. Brady ended up helping her fiance, Dan put rock in the yard. We love Dan! We are so excited for Jamie. She has found a wonderful guy that really loves her and takes care of her. We couldn't be more happy. A plus is that he is WONDERFUL with my boys. He even watched Brady so that Jamie and I could meet his Mom and sisters to go look at bridesmaids dresses.

We then had dinner at my Mom's. My Mom just got home after being gone for 3 weeks with my Grandma. My Grandma is now having a home health nurse come everyday to help with her incision. She is pretty much on "house arrest" right now until her incision heals and home health doesn't have to come. So, the boys and I will go up there Friday to help her and get away. We will do her grocery shopping, etc for her when we get there. It will be nice to also get some more beach time in.

I have talked to AJ a few times today. They have had the weekend off. Pretty dumb if you ask me.. but I don't run it. It just is frustrating when you know he has time off, his going out, going to the beach, when I want him here so bad. I try not to get upset with him, but sometimes I just want to scream when I hear he has time off. I feel like we need to get the show on the road, or they could have at least waited until today to leave.

I need to get the boys to bed. They are going through a phase now where they want to sleep in the same bed. So, they have been sleeping in Brady's bottom twin bunk. But, they keep asking to do it and they do sleep well. So, guess it doesn't hurt.

We have a very busy day tomorrow. Keeg has soccer camp in the morning, Brady has swimming lessons during the same time as camp, we are going to go to the Toys for Tots Warehouse, then we have baseball and baseball pictures.
