AJ's unit had a media day and final formation. Here are some pictures I took at the formation. He gets off until tomorrow at 11 p.m. then will head to Chicago for a flight out early Friday mornng to North Carolina for a month. They will then move to Camp Pendelton for a month, then to 29 Palms for a few weeks.
Tonight, we took the boys out for their first Lightening Bug hunt. They had the best time running around in the yard chasing the bugs in their p.js. I wish I would have gotten pictures, but my camera was dead. We collected a few in a jar. Keegan was upset by that because he thought they should stay in their natural habitat!
Tomorrow we plan to lay low. Hang out and maybe go to the park. We are suppose to experience extreme wind tomorrow reaching 5o miles per hour along with storms. The temperature is suppose to reach 90 degrees.
